From our beginning in an  adapted auto parts store at 114 Fourth Ave. South (two doors north of the present day Schermehorn Symphony Hall) we have continued to improve our facilities. We have been through  four phases since our opening in September of 1984.

The first phase ended  in 1987 when the lease on the first building ended and the plans and fund raising for the new building were completed.

The second phase was the move into the new building in the Spring of 1989.

The third phase was the renovation of the kitchen and the building of the connector between the CCF building and the Nancy Webb Kelly building completed in 2000.

The fourth phase came with the renovation of the shower, laundry and bathroom area, the addition of the storeroom, meeting rooms and copier/file room of the CCF building. Included in this transition was the complete renovation of the NWK building and addition of four classrooms.
