LAUNDRY
Keeping the few clothes you may have clean when
you live on the street is a problem. Many find that the clothes they wear
during the day are the same clothes they wear at night. Even if you have a
few dollars that you could use for a commercial laundry you might not have
clothes to wear while washing what you have.
From the one donated washing machine and one dryer that we began with in
1984 to the two new commercial washers and four commercial dryers we
installed in 2005 CCF has provided a solution to that need. Every day,
Monday through Friday, our guest line up before we open to get their name on
the list for their laundry for the week. Even though we quadrupled our
capacity with the commercial equipment we still have to limit our guest to
laundry once a week.
